Changing water levels has never been fun. Not in zelda, not in mario. Wet dry world just isnt fun at all

I did play minish cap and 100% it almost everytime. I haven't completely watch the video, but I personally never found anything truely difficult or annoying to beat the game with max heart count. Im curious what is the worst heart piece lol.

When i bought BK again after 20 years, Mad Monster Mansion was the world I was most excited to play again, and motivated me the most to play the game

King Dudongo Unfortunately has zero method to damage you if you stand on the interior ring close to the lava. If they gave it the ability to harm you there as well, maybe turn its fire breath to actually aim. Also, if the boss moved a bit more unpredictably, side to side as he rolls, It could make it harder to avoid it. It also could use some more health. The fact you can kill it with sticks in seconds is crazy lol. Also, the lava should actually hurt. If all of those things were changed I feel like dodongos cavern would get more recognition as the rest of the dungeon is imo amazing

I never understood why they didn't released a booster pack with more boards and minigames. It seemed so obvious to me.

My top three would be: 1.- Mad Monster Mansion 2.- Click Clock Woods 3.- Gobi's Valley

I would put Witchy World in the last place, it's way bigger that it should have been and that makes it tedious and boring sometimes (and the music doesn't help much either). Maybe a more compact level design could have been better.

You didn't mention Star Hill at all. That just proves how forgettable it is. But Chapter 4 is still great and is the best behind Chapter 6.

I honestly would have put wet dry at the bottom. It's the only world that has no real theme or identity outside changing the water level. It's just a mess of random stuff. It's as awful as rainbow without the benefit of being at the end.

Twilight Princess’s dungeons should be the standard that Nintendo look toward for reference if they ever do decide to return to the classic Zelda formula on the off chance. Each one shines in its own unique way, and each feel like a daunting challenge, even if you’ve played the game more times than you can count like I have.

Maybe the true reward isnt the heart piece, but the figures we made along the way

I remember doing the goron trial to get mojaras mask, it was very difficult but due to the notches in the n64 controller you could hit some of the turns perfectly by using these notches. I tried to get this again years later on emulator with a ps2 style gamepad and it was near impossible and gave up.

so happy to have another deepnest fan, as Nosk is my favorire boss, and i love the pathfinding you need to do to get through the area, and the few glowing and happy areas

Wet Dry World is my least favourite. It is slow and boring. My favourite level is Tall, Tall Mountain Tick Tock Clock is amazing too, but so difficult.

Played this game so much as a kid but I never knew jumping into Wet Dry worlds painting at different heights effected anything. Of course I was like 6 or 7 when I first got the N64 but nonetheless… I’m amazed

I played something worse as a kid. I had a Minecraft mod. I don’t remember what it was, just that I saw it looked cool, made sure I got it from a safe site, and played it. I never saw anyone else play it, and it only had a couple hundred downloads, which was small at the time. I was maybe 6 or 7 at the time. This mod, along with the new mobs, world, materials and such it added, added something that I’m sure was inspired by this exact game, for it was almost exactly the same. You collected a shard of some kind off of a new mob the mod added, at a 0.1% drop rate, and then you went to a special kind of villager in the mod dimension that would trade you a figurine for 1 or more shards. The chance scaled almost exactly the same as the one in this game does, and of course this was already frustrating, because the mob had this annoying gimmick that made fighting it take forever, and it only dropped 1 shard at a 0.1% chance, or 2 at a 0.01% chance. The mob’s spawn rate wasn’t so bad, and they usually spawned in groups of 3-5, but man, it was annoying. And the worst part was that there wasn’t 130 figures. No. There were over 930. The item you got for completing the collection was necessary to unlock the boss of the mod dimension. NECESSARY. (It was this special pickaxe that you had to break a vine obsidian thing with to get into this hollow tree where you spawned the boss using a different item that was only a little annoying to get.) I swear it must have been coded by a sadist because what the fuck. I did end up finishing the grind when I was 8, but then my parents moved me across computers and the website the mod was initially hosted on got taken down (it was a private website, they had a page on curseforge or something like it but you couldn’t download it from there). I remember I posted a screenshot of me beating the boss in the “review” section of their website and it got removed for profanity or something. Fun times.

I’m a big completionist for any game I really get into, especially Zelda games, but there is no way in hell I would ever bother with this. Sorry, no 100% for me for Minish if I ever do play it.

I disagree with some of the rankings but I love this game and really enjoyed seeing how you felt about it. I feel like this wasn't something I talked to anyone about, none of my other friends have played it and it was a once and done type thing Nintendo put out which is unfortunate.

For my money rainbow ride will always be the absolute worst stage in the game lol. That level just does not agree with the camera movement making each jump unfairly risky. It's a level that almost always requires players to farm lives beforehand. Def the bane of my 120 star run lol

For Windwaker, I think those stupid duels with Orca are worse. It's so incredibly tedious that it makes you frustrated and want to stop playing safely.
